About the Author

I am a poet and artist based in New York City. I am fueled by my fellow creatives and the chance to make something bespoke yet inviting. Poetry is sometimes an answer, sometimes a question, sometimes a solution, but always, poetry is my preferred method of communication. I draw inspiration from the people in my life and the stories they tell me. My book, Quicksand: Epigrams and Interludes, available on Amazon, is an exploration of family, identity, and belonging. I am excited to connect and collaborate with artists through open mics, performative art pieces, and my newest endeavor, friend of a friend, a collective poetry zine.

If my work resonates with you, I would love to connect and create something together.

A woman with short dark hair, wearing a black and white floral dress, smiling while reading or speaking at a microphone on a small stage in a bar or restaurant. The stage has a black surface with white graffiti-style writing, including 'TONIGHT THURSDAYS.' Behind her, there are metallic pipes or industrial equipment, and to the right, a small table with audio equipment and wires.
